MNet Review

videoPart of the Visually Speaking series, this short production was designed for young children in Kindergarten to Grade Three. The video presents a kaleidoscope of everyday visual images, accompanied by a soundtrack that ranges from realistic to playful to outright nonsensical. The aim of the video is to show how sound communicates messages and can trigger associations with past memories. It can be used as a springboard for sound-related activities in the classroom.

A Sense of Sound can be ordered online from the National Film Board.
